DigiCompanion Solutions LLP, operating as GetDigiCompanion ("we", "us", "our"), operates the getdigicompanion.com platform and related services. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("you", "your"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal and business information when you use our AI-powered e-commerce management platform.

By using our services, you consent to the practices described in this policy. This policy complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 of India.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve our services:

a) Personal Information

Full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
Account credentials (email and encrypted password)

b) Business Information

Business name, type, and category
GST Identification Number (GSTIN) and PAN
Bank account details (account number, IFSC code, UPI ID) for payment processing
Product catalogues, images, descriptions, and pricing
Inventory, order, and sales data

c) Automatically Collected Information

Device type, browser, operating system, and IP address
Usage patterns, page views, and feature interactions
Cookies and similar tracking technologies

d) Third-Party Account Data

Facebook and Instagram Business account information (when connected)
Threads account information (when connected)
YouTube channel information and Google Business Profile listing information (when you connect a Google account — see “Google user data” in section 4)
WhatsApp Business account data
Marketplace seller account identifiers (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho)

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account on our platform
To set up your online store, website, and marketplace listings
To generate AI-powered product descriptions, images, and social media content using Google Gemini AI
To process payments and subscriptions through Razorpay
To manage your social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp
To sync inventory and orders across Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho
To facilitate shipping through Shiprocket integration
To send transactional notifications (order updates, account alerts)
To improve our platform, fix issues, and develop new features
To comply with legal obligations under Indian law

3. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the India (Mumbai) region. We retain your personal and business data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by Indian law (e.g., tax records under GST regulations are retained for the statutorily mandated period).

We integrate with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they process data:

We only share the minimum data necessary for each integration to function. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Google user data

When you choose to connect a Google account (for YouTube or Google Business Profile), we ask Google only for the permissions needed for the features you turn on:

YouTube: to upload the Shorts and videos you approve to your own channel, to read your channel name and the view, like and comment counts of the videos we published, and to reply to or moderate comments on them from your inbox.
Google Business Profile: to create or link your shop's Maps listing, keep its details (hours, address, photos, posts) up to date, and read and reply to your reviews.

We use this data solely to provide those features to you inside GetDigiCompanion. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to operate the feature you requested (for example, sending your video to YouTube), for security, or where the law requires it. Our staff do not read your Google data except with your permission for support, or where needed for security or abuse prevention. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and are never shown to our staff.

You can disconnect Google at any time from My Store → Channels, or revoke our access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens and revokes our access on your Google account immediately; other Google data we hold is removed with your account under section 6.

GetDigiCompanion's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security practices and procedures as required under the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011. These include:

Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
Secure password hashing and storage
Row-level security policies on all database tables
Role-based access control for internal teams
Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments
Sensitive credentials (GST, PAN, bank details) are encrypted and access-logged

6. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian law, you have the following rights regarding your data:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by contacting us (this may affect service availability)
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
Grievance Redressal: File a complaint with our Grievance Officer (details below)

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how our platform is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the platform.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business owners and individuals aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice on our platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
